Staff & Training

Allied have a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we employ only the highest standard of worker, thus providing the highest quality of service. All of our Children's Support Workers have an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check, and are fully trained for child specific services. Our prime consideration is to ensure that the best candidate is selected, regardless of sex, race or other personal characteristics. In addition to our standard induction, Allied Healthcare's children's workers also complete a 2 day Child Specific induction to enable them to fully understand the service that they will be delivering. Coupled with this induction all staff undertake Paediatric 1st Aid and Basic Life Support and Children’s Safeguarding at Level 2.

All workers are required to register for the QCF Diploma- Level 2 upon completion of their Induction Training, should the training qualification not already be held. We also actively encourage staff to register for the QCF Diploma- Level 3 qualification once this has been completed in order to aid worker professional development.

For all health needs, our Children’s Services team will work with the carers to train on specialist healthcare tasks.
