Health and Safety Panel

Our Health and Safety Panel meet once a month to discuss urgent and important health and safety issues.  A normal meeting will look at the following topics:

  1. Accident statistics
        a. Recent reportable incidents
        b. Near misses
        c. Clinical incidents
        d. Days lost
        e. Common themes
        f. Preventative measures
        g. Targets for next period
  2. Health & Safety bulletins for HSE and new legislation
  3. Training needs and delivery
  4. Best Practice
  5. Risk Assessments
  6. Policies, Procedures and Generic documents
  7. Reports from field based EH&S representatives

Representatives

There will be a representative from the following departments present at each health and safety panel meeting:

 - Operations (Director Level)

 - Continuing Care (Director Level)

 - Occupational Health (Head of)

 - Estates (Manager Level)

 - Training (Manager Level)

 - Operations (Manager Level)

 - Branch Manager (Manager Level)
